Leesa is an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner with over six (6) years of experience delivering Positive Behaviour Support through the NDIS. Leesa’s early career focused on supporting children, young people, and families through teaching roles, school attendance engagement, Out of Home Care, and refugee and migrant settlement services.
Leesa has clinical experience in functional behavioural assessment, development of Behaviour Support Plans and associated documentation, and implementation of behaviour support programs. She enjoys working closely with participants, guardians, support workers, and providers to ensure improved quality of life outcomes. Her practice spans schools, aged care, Supported Independent Living (SIL), and community environments.
Leesa holds a Graduate Certificate in Applied Behaviour Analysis (Griffith University), a Master of Teaching (Primary), a Master of Child and Adolescent Welfare, a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, and a Bachelor of Design (Honours).
